Baseball Card Stars was created by a collector for collectors. Since age 8, owner Brad Wackerlin has been collecting sportscards. As the number of card manufacturers and sets proliferated in the 1990s, Brad chose to pursue collecting cards of one particular player, his hometown hero Mark Grace. As a player collector, Brad decided to create a website that would help other player collectors find singles of their favorite players at reasonable prices. The result is Baseball Card Stars, a website organized by player to help aid collectors in quickly finding the cards they need to fill the holes in their collection.
