RBR Publishing Company is a Pennsylvania-based corporation founded in 2001. Chief poobah is Ed Pavelka, a 30-year veteran of cycling journalism. He has served as editor of VeloNews, executive editor of Bicycling and produced more than three-dozen cycling books. His road cycling career dates to 1972 and emphasizes long-distance events. Until retiring from daily duties in 2005, longtime cycling writer and coach Fred Matheny was RBRs vice president and primary content provider.
