JazzyJods is one of the freshest ideas to be introduced into the saddleseat riding world! JazzyJods was founded in the last two years when I started riding again and showing American Saddlebreds after a good 15 years out of the showing circuit. I got my Fashion Design & Marketing degree at Kansas State University and made a decision to enter the corporate world instead of pursuing the fashion industry. Here I gained quite a bit of business experience in sales and management. Although I was quite successful, I still had a calling to get back into the riding world. When I started riding again with Milligan Stables here in the Dallas area I ordered several pair of Kentucky Jodhpurs and was truly disappointed in what was available. I didn’t like the way they fit or the fabrics available. The waist was literally up to my chest and was unbearably uncomfortable. It was at that point that I married my two passions (riding and fashion) and started JazzyJods. I went back to the drawing board and worked for an entire year perfecting the pattern and went on a search for the best fabrics suitable and durable for this riding discipline.
