Jan decided to knit herself a set and was soon taking orders from family and friends who found her design irresistible. In the mid- 1960s, an order arrived that caught Jans attention. It was from a young touring professional named Jack Nicklaus. As his victories mounted, so did the recognition of the custom, hand-knit headcovers that adorned his golf bag.
