Arden Straw is an avid golfer. He was looking for a high quality clock with a golf theme for his office. He searched for months, on the web, in stores, and magazines, but couldnt find one. All he found were cheap plastic models. Arden has been a woodworker all his life and owns a Cabinet/Furniture shop. He decided that since he was unable to find a clock, he would make one himself. He came up with a design, made a solid wood frame in his shop. He used real golf tees in the 12, 3, 6 and 9 oclock positions shaped as roman numerals. A relative saw the clock and mentioned that he should sell it. Arden changed a couple of the dimensions and created a number of clocks out of several different wood types. He opened a booth at a local craft fair, received a lot of compliments and sold several of the clocks. Shortly after the craft fair, a pro shop in a major city about one hour away began selling the clocks. The Pro Shop also carries several of the other products that welovegolf offers. welovegolf continues to add products that we believe will bring the joy of the great sport of golf into your home or business.
