The company was founded at the very beginning of 1994 when the Cont Brothers, Walter and Sergio, decided to turn their passion for the world of Go Karts into a professional business and in doing so got into this fascinating and exciting market. The development of the product was approached one step at a time by eliminating the highest possible number of variables. It was with this perspective that the production of remoulded tyres started. It was a way of gaining experience on compounds starting off with old tyres made by other parties. Eventually remoulding was left behind altogether to concentrate only on the manufacture of new tyres. Over the 1996/1998 time span the company tackled the international certification problem and succeeded in obtaining the CIK certification for as many as six sizes. This allowed the initial entrance into the Italian national market. At the same time, along with the automation of the production of the Go Kart tyre, a production line of Moto Cross tyres was started which fully satisfied the company’s expectations culminating in winning the Italian 250c.c. Moto Cross Championship in 1997. Having won the Moto cross championship, the company decided to focus on the karting and car markets. Having gained their second certification for Kart FMK for the 1999/2001 three year period, the production of racing tyres for cars started. Currently, we are focussing on two wheel sizes: 10” and 13”, we are starting off with the smallest sizes with the ambition of getting all the way to the top. Our web site has three different areas; Go Karts, which in the next few months will be having its initial tests in international races, the production of Racing compounds for companies that produce high performance tyres and Cars, which like the Go Kart one, will be launched in the next year both in uphill races or slalom as well as on the race track, mounted on minor Formulas.
