I have been in the racing industry/business for over 12 years now. Being dad was into Micro Sprint racing, I have been involved in racing all my life. As a kid I raced Soapbox Derby & Micro Sprints. I have built winning cars in Soapbox Derby for over 21 years! During this time, my cars have won 15 national championships and 4 world championships! From 1994-2001 I was the general manager of Mico Racing, Inc. My responsibilities included, among other things, running the CNC machine shop and managing the Mico Racing Team. During this time we, as a team, won 4 Grand National titles in Quarter Midget racing with Travis and Wade Miniea driving. After that we won numerous other races with the boys as drivers. We also raced Kenyon Midgets with Travis Miniea driving. In this category we ran a 5 race deal and won 3 of them. After that we bought Sara Fisher’s midget car program when she signed with Walker Racing. The first year Travis was ARCA Rookie of the Year! Along with those achievements, we also won the 500 lap Night Before Indy at the Speedrome, collecting a $10,000.00 purse. The following year Travis won the Namar’s Midget Championship. Four years(2000) ago Bruce Finwall, an aerodynamicist who I designed my winning Soapbox cars with, and I started on an Olympic bobsled project. During this time, I met a Swiss world cup Bobsled champion driver named Ralph Pichlear. Ralph gave me the designs and materials to build Swiss runners. My first set of runners placed third in the world cup competition and were used by the 1998 Olympic gold medalist Pierre Leuders. This was unheard of for ones first attempt. With Zero Errors machining capabilities, Bruces aerodynamic expertise, and Mark 1 Composites carbon fiber facility, we have designed and built a state of the art Bobsled. It was proven at the University of Maryland’s wind tunnel, where it outperformed a current top USA sled. Zero Error started building 2 man & 4 man bobsleds for the American Bobsled Club. After that Bruce went to work for G-Force Indy Cars as their aerodynamicist and designer. I left Mico Racing to build bobsleds and returned a year later and purchased the company.
