Socci Sport is a grass-roots company founded by Yani Dilling and Grant Scheffer in Charleston, South Carolina. Yani, the inventor of the game, began developing Socci in 1987 when he realized that something was missing in the field of sports. While many team hand sports had been developed and popularized over the last 100 years, most notably basketball, soccer remained the only team foot sport and the biggest, most popular sport in the world.
