GamePlanner Software in Sports Directory

 

David Day and Andrew Quick formed GamePlanner Ltd. in May 2000. This was after 3 years of research and development. Their goal was to provide sports coaches with software that was easy to use, powerful, useful and affordable. Their first product was Rugby GamePlanner. Even they were surprised at the response. In their first year they sold Rugby GamePlanner to all the major Rugby Unions and all the Premiership clubs. It was while creating the first in the SessionPlanner series, Rugby SesssionPlanner, that they met with Lynn Evans, then RFU, RDO for Oxfordshire. With Lynn they created the first in the Action! Book series “Rugby - Understanding the Moving Game” a CD-ROM of the coaching methods of Pierre Villepreux. Lynn has since become a very good friend, never failing to put them right on the software!
